Early in the morning and transfer to the beautiful village of Abhaneri, home to the famous historic well with 3500 steps, with a subsequent visit to the splendid and desolate Fatehpur Sikri, an evocative ghost town that has the grandeur of a capital and the suggestion of a dream. Built in red sandstone by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late sixteenth century, it was soon abandoned due to lack of water in the perfect conditions in which it can still be admired today. At the end, continue to Agra, in the region of Uttar Pradesh, home to two superb monuments admired throughout the world, the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) and the Red Fort, in which the genius of the design of the Mughal palaces and gardens is fully manifested.
